Last Revised: August 2026 β’ Effective Immediately across all TVM Terminal sub-systems.
1. Data Controller & Legal Entity Information
TVM Terminal (βweβ, βusβ, or βourβ) is operated by the TVM Telemetry Research Group (Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom). We act as the Data Controller under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).
For data protection inquiries or to exercise your statutory privacy rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at: contact@tvmterminal.com.
2. Public Data Ingestion Principles
TVM Terminal is an empirical quantitative momentum intelligence system. The data processed to calculate the Virality Momentum Score (VMS), Political Momentum (M_pol), and Travel Intent scores consists exclusively of publicly accessible information, public metadata, RSS feeds, prediction market orderbooks, and developer repository metrics.
We do not ingest, sell, broker, or store private individual personal communications, private direct messages, non-public biometric data, or sensitive personally identifiable information (PII).
3. User Information We Collect Directly
When you interact with our web platform, APIs, or support desks, we may collect:
- Contact & Support Data: Name, work email address, organization name, and message content when you dispatch support tickets via /contact.
- API Authentication & Telemetry: API keys, IP addresses, request volumes, and user-agent strings for rate limiting, bot protection, and SLA enforcement.
- Device & Telemetry Logs: Cloudflare edge access logs, approximate geographic region (country/city level), and browser telemetry to ensure uptime and Anycast routing.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (UK / EU GDPR)
We process your data under the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Operating low-latency edge infrastructure, defending against malicious DDoS and automated scraping, and calculating statistical momentum scores.
- Contractual Performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Delivering Pro and Enterprise API quotas, webhook alerts, and SLA service commitments.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Non-essential analytics and cookie preferences.
5. Data Retention & Edge Security
Support tickets stored in Cloudflare D1 Database (trending_db) are retained for 12 months for quality assurance before automated purging. Public telemetry snapshots in Cloudflare R2 are retained indefinitely for historical backtesting.
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 with strict HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers.
6. Your Statutory Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / UK DPA)
You have the right to request access to your data, correction, deletion (βright to be forgottenβ), restriction of processing, and data portability. To submit a verified privacy request, please email contact@tvmterminal.com.
